Mehwish Hayat encourages public to donate in PM’s relief fund

The ongoing novel coronavirus outbreak has changed the functioning of many countries all over the world including Pakistan.

Popular actress Mehwish Hayat has urged the public to donate whatever they can in PM's coronavirus relief fund. The actress urged everyone to bid their help in whatever capacity they can, to show solidarity during this time of pandemic.

The Load Wedding actress uploaded a video on Instagram and said: “Pakistan is facing the biggest challenge currently, how we behave now will decide the fate of our generations to come.”

She further adds, "I urge everyone to do their bit in helping the people of our country. Every contribution counts and solidarity is our only hope against this pandemic."

Mehwish asked her fans to act responsible and stay at home. She said the public should take this issue seriously. The actress paid tribute to all our doctors, nurses, paramedics & health officials who are at the forefront of the battle against coronavirus.

She concluded by saying: "Frontline medical staff have the right to have protective equipment to fight COVID-19 or the situation will deteriorate rapidly."
