Okara police have registered a case against a so-called device insurance company on charges of robbing people of millions of rupees in the name of discounts.
Reportedly, Usman told the people that he was an employee of an insurance firm, Tokyo Device Insurance Company and offered up to 50 per cent to lure them.
People handed him millions of rupees cash, the locals complained, adding that the accused assured them of providing them mobiles and other devices with up to 50 per cent discount.
