The Ramazan relief package has been implemented on the utility stores with Rs3,000 as the maximum per family subsidy limit on the purchase of edibles, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to a notification issued by the Utility Stores Corporation, the condition of National Identity Card is mandatory for the customers to purchase items on subsidised rates.
As per the notification, 40kg will be the maximum per family purchase limit on flour at the utility stores under the Ramazan relief package.
Similarly, 5kg will be the maximum per family purchase limit on sugar and ghee each.
Also, the maximum per family purchase limit on cooking oil is two litres.
