While being briefed about the work on the Akbar Chowk flyover project, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Saturday directed its early completion for public facilitation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“No tree will be cut during the construction of Akbar Chowk flyover. The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will purchase modern machinery for the safe relocation of trees,” the chief minister was briefed during a meeting.
“Thousands of citizens of Johar Town, Faisal Town, Model Town, Township and other areas will benefit with the construction of Akbar Chowk flyover,” the chief minister was briefed further.
Mohsin Naqvi directed that the Akbar Chowk flyover project should be completed in minimum time for the convenience of the people.
He also directed to ensure best arrangements for the smooth flow of traffic during the construction of the project.
Officers of the departments concerned attended the meeting.
