Lahore corps commander shows solidarity with Christians on Easter

Lahore Corps Commander Lieutenant General Syed Amir Raza visited a church in Lahore to express solidarity with Christians on Easter.


The corps commander cut the cake and extended good wishes for the community. Special prayers were offered for peace and prosperity. Many ex-servicemen were among the participants.


The corps commander praised Christians for their role in the Pakistan Movement and national development.


“The outstanding services and eternal sacrifices of the Christian community for national defence and development are unforgettable.”


He shed light on the promotion of interfaith harmony and tolerance.


“According to the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees religious freedom to all citizens.”


The nation of Pakistan is united and rejects hateful propaganda. Pastor Akram Gill said.
