Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid rich tributes to martyred Army Captain Muhammad Ali Qureshi and visited his family in Lahore on Tuesday, commending the great sacrifice for the motherland, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of martyred Captain Ali Qureshi located at Railway Officers Colony in Walton area of Lahore on the second day of Eid, where he met his mother, wife, innocent daughter, uncle, and other family members and paid tribute to the great sacrifice of the martyred captain in powerful words.
Ali’s mother became tearful while remembering her martyred son and said that her thoughts started with Ali and ended with him. The innocent daughter Ayana kept kissing her father’s picture and put the medal received by her father around her neck.
Mohsin Naqvi consoled the mother of martyred captain. He spent time with the family of the deceased, and appreciated the bravery of the martyr and prayed for the eternal peace of the soul of Muhammad Ali Qureshi.
On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that Shaheed Captain Ali is a hero of the nation and his family will be taken care of in every way. The deceased defeated the nefarious intentions of the terrorists while fighting bravely. The nation will always remember the immortal sacrifice of Ali, he added.
The minister stated that the Shaheed Captain laid down his life for the sake of his beloved homeland. He is a brave son of the homeland whose courage we salute. “Captain Ali's sacrifice is a symbol of the invincible resolve of the Pakistan Army and the entire nation against terrorism.”
It is pertinent to note that Captain Muhammad Ali Qureshi was martyred on August 26, 2024 while fighting bravely against terrorists in Balochistan.
The interior minister on first day of the Eid also visited the residence of Shaheed Lieutenant Muhammad Hassan Ashraf in Lahore’s WAPDA Town, where he met with the martyr’s father, Muhammad Ashraf, his brother, Muhammad Hanan Ashraf, and other family members. He spent time with them, expressing solidarity and offering condolences.
During the visit, Naqvi honoured Lt. Hassan Ashraf’s extraordinary bravery and ultimate sacrifice in the fight against extremist terrorists.
