Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended warm greetings to United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In a telephone call with the UAE ruler, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed Pakistan's deep appreciation for UAE's longstanding and steadfast support to Pakistan in different sectors.
Recalling the historical brotherly ties between the two countries, PM Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen its cordial relations with the UAE for mutually rewarding cooperation.
The UAE President warmly reciprocated the Eid greetings and extended his best wishes to the people of Pakistan.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain and extended his warm greetings on Eidul Fitr.
Highlighting the historic fraternal ties between the two countries, the prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong desire to further expand the close and cordial relations with Bahrain in all areas of mutual interest, particularly in trade and investment.
He expressed his gratitude to the King and the government of Bahrain for looking after the Pakistani community living in the Kingdom.
