PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has stated that he will discuss Azam Swati’s remarks with Junaid Akbar, emphasizing that internal party matters are being handled and that there is no major conflict within PTI.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail alongside other party leaders, PTI founder’s focal person, Niazullah Niazi, highlighted that no meeting with Imran Khan took place as per the Islamabad High Court's larger bench decision. He added that, according to the list compiled by Salman Akram Raja, only Azam Swati was granted a meeting.
Niazi accused authorities of violating court orders, asserting that a contempt of court petition would be filed in response.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Mubashir Maqsood Awan claimed that Imran Khan has been deprived of books and has not been allowed to speak to his children on the phone for seven months. He further alleged that the former prime minister is also being denied the right to hold political meetings.
