A policeman was shot dead in Peshawar on Sunday as he was returning to home after performing his duty along with a polio vaccination team, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Rapid Response Force (RRF) personnel was on his home after polio duty when unidentified men riding on a motorcycle shot him dead in the precincts of the Daudzai Police Station.

The attackers made their escape good from the scene.

The police after collecting the evidence have started an investigation into the deadly attack.
