Saudi Arabia allows Umrah from August 10

The government of Saudi Arabia Sunday allowed Umrah for pilgrims from next Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

According to 24News HD TV channel, the Saudi Arab government has allowed Umrah pilgrims to enter the country since August 10.

Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arab Spokesperson Hisham Saeed announced that only the pilgrims belonged to the countries that were excluded from the list of corona-restrictions by the KSA would be allowed to enter for Umrah.

In the first batch, around 20,000 foreign pilgrims would be allowed to perform Umrah in Makkah, after which the number of pilgrims would be increased with time.

Unfortunately, according to the Saudi Arabian media, Pakistan, India, and UAE are not among the countries exempted from sanctions.
