When the value of the dollar against the Pakistani rupee declined on Monday, the prices of pure gold also decreased by Rs2,200 per tola in the local market.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, though gold has become more expensive in the international market but its prices have been reduced in Pakistan.
In the international market, the gold rose by US$7 to reach US$1,774 per ounce on Monday.
The price of 24 karats of pure gold has reached Rs1,57,400 per tola while the price of 10-gram gold is also reduced by Rs1,886 to Rs1,34,945 in the Pakistani market.
