Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said the shameful Bajaur incident cant shatter his party workers' resolve.
Talking to the media, he said: “I want to tell the attackers that Jamiat is a community of scholars and The JUI-F will not back down from its ideology.”
He added: “Killing innocent people is against Sharia. No one has the right to shed the blood of innocent Muslims.
“Those who shed the blood of innocent people should be ashamed.
“We have a history of showing patience and we stick to it.
“I sent a message to our workers to show patience and ensure peace.
The PDM president stressed that this is a national tragedy and there should be no point scoring
He prayed for the departed souls and the injured. The JUI chief expressed his gratitude to those who showed solidarity with him.
He said he came to comfort the injured and they comforted him, showing that their morale is high.
About the election matter, he said the coalition government will hand the power over to the caretakers on time and after that, the elections will be held.
