Manhandling of youth by security guards in Karachi has taken a new turn as police were not arresting PPP MNA Ijaz Jhakrani’s son Haris despite the registration of an FIR of the case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the victim, the influential accused has contacted him on social media app and hurled life threats if the victim does not take back his application.
After the police’s lukewarm response, the victim youth has written a letter to DG Rangers Major General Azhar Waqas seeking help against the powerful accused.
Moreover, the victim youth has also sought help from Human Rights Commission of Pakistan. After recieving the application, HRCP in a letter to SSP South and DIG South Karachi demanded justice for the victims and strict action against the accused.
A young boy in Karachi was brutally beaten by the private security guards of PPP leader Aijaz Jakhrani on Tuesday. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing the victim being attacked from behind and repeatedly beaten by multiple guards. According to police, a case of assault has been registered at the Darakhshan Police Station, including charges of attempted murder and torture. In the FIR, the victim claimed that the attack was carried out by Haris Jakhrani, son of a former PPP lawmaker.
