Three students die as van hits motorbike in Bahawalpur

Two girl students among deceased: They were on way to school when accident happened

Three students, two of them were girls, died Thursday after the motorbike they were travelling on was hit by a van from the rear in Yazman tehsil of Bahawalpur district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the students were on their way to school on the motorbike when the accident took place.

The deceased students were identified as Muhammad Ilyas, Laiba Yusuf and Khadija Hussain. They were residents of 14/DB area of Chak Yazman.

They were all 15 years old, and they died on the spot due to critical injuries.

The accident occurred due to speeding by the van driver, police said.

A case was also registered for further investigation.
