Govt excludes Nandipur and Guddu power plants from privatization list

The caretaker government has made the decision to remove Nandipur and Guddu Power Plants from the privatization list, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

This decision was formally approved by the Board of Privatization Commission in a meeting held in Islamabad on Friday.

Caretaker Minister for Privatization Fawad Hassan Fawad chaired the meeting.  

The Privatization Commission Board, responsible for overseeing key decisions related to privatization, voted in favor of excluding both Nandipur and Guddu Power Plants from the privatization list.

Furthermore, the Board endorsed the appointment of a financial advisor for the Roosevelt Hotel, New York.
