The Punjab Public Service Commission (PBSC) has failed to rein in the paper leak mafia, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Last year, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar constituted a committee under the supervision of the CM's inspection team chairman Ali Murtaza to dig into it.

The chief minister took action after the issue made headlines in wake of candidates’ protests against the alleged corruption in commission. They mentioned paper leaks, unfair marking, and manipulation of results. However, the commission secretary rejected the allegations

The question on the examination system of the Punjab Public Service Commission has remained unanswered so for.  The question paper of Sunday’s written test for the post of sub-inspector was too leaked two days before the exam. The mafia posted it on an unfamiliar website.

Reportedly question papers were taken back from the candidates and they were told that the new one would be given to them. They were given the question papers two hours behind the schedule. Moreover, the paper was on sale for Rs500,000.
