State Minister Musadik Masood Malik has suggested Senator Mushahid Hussain leave the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in reaction to his demand for election, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Speaking in Senate, Mushahid Hussain described the current government as an ‘inactive regime’ and stressed election 'should be held otherwise a general or a technocrat will overcome'.
“We want solutions to the public problems. If we cannot do anything, We should go for a national government.
“We criticise General Ziaul Haq but follow his policies. Hold elections. We should think of the state, not the seat,” Mushahid said.
Reacting to Mushahid’s remarks, Musadik urged him to quit the PML-N.
“Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar had disagreed with the policy of the PPP, so he resigned. The same is the case here,” he said adding that Mushahid should leave the PML-N. Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani also ought CV from Mushahid Hussain.
