A 15-year-old maid named Aleezay was allegedly tortured to death by her owner in Faisalabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shamim, the mother of the deceased Aleezay, said that her daughter was working in the house for the last eight months and now she had died because of torture. “We were told she died of fever,” her mother said.

Contrary to the claims of the owner, Aleezay’s mother said when they reached the Ayub Colony residence in 238-Kamoana in tehsil Jaranwala, Faisalabad, they saw her daughter’s body hanging by the ceiling fan.

Aleezay was receiving a salary of Rs8,000 from the house where she was working and died.
Aleezay’s mother appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to take notice of the incident and provide her justice.
