Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb while chairing Economic Coordination Committee meeting approved that gas prices for domestic consumers will not be revised and will also remain the same from July 1, 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ECC approved the summary submitted by the Petroleum Division. ECC also decided to increase gas price by Rs 250 per MMB2 for Capto Power.
After the approval gas tariff was increased from Rs2750 to 3000 rupees per MMBTU for Capto.
Petroleum Minister Mossadik Malik, Energy Minister Owais Leghari, Minister of State for Finance, representatives of regulatory authority, federal secretaries, senior officers of concerned Ministries also participated in the meeting of ECC.
