Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan )MQM-P) expressed gratitude to the Sindh High Court for eliminating 50,000 to 60,000 jobs that were allocated without merit.
The 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday that MQM-P head Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and senior leader Farooq Sattar held a joint press conference and stated that justice has finally been served over the issue of public jobs in Karachi.
They said though justice has been served now Grade 1 to Grade 15 jobs should be given to residents of Karachi as they were deprived in the past.
He lamented the history of injustice over the past 50 years, pointing out that 50,000 to 60,000 jobs were distributed in Karachi over the years without fairness.
MQM-P head Khalid Maqbool emphasized that all ethnicities should have equal rights to public jobs.
The MQM-P head added that the public jobs were being distributed in Karachi unfairly, leading people to stop applying for government positions.
