In a startling development, the man, who is presently in Jarranwala police custody in connection with the murder of his brother-in-law, told interrogators on Sunday he had also killed his daughter for ‘honour’ around six months ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Salim was arrested yesterday along with four others in connection with the murder of his brother-in-law Muhammad Ali.
During questioning, he disclosed that he killed his daughter Amina and then buried her body in front of his house.
On the order of SHO Riaz Uthowal, the police later retrieved the body, sent it to a hospital for a post-mortem and started the investigation.

The murder led to a protest by deceased Qamar Abbas’s relatives who was 27 at the time of his death.
The protestors placed the dead body on the GT Road and blocked the Rahwali Chowk due to which there was a traffic jam on the road.
A heavy police contingent, led by the DSP, reached the site of the protest and started negotiations with the deceased’s relatives.
Negotiations were underway till last reports came in.
According to sources in the police, Abbas had contracted marriage with the suspect’s sister a year and a half back.
But the suspect, who was opposed to their union, pumped bullets into his brother-in-law’s body two days ago due to which he died today.
