Punjab govt starts representatives’ registration for Dastak Programme

To provide jobs to the youth, the Punjab government on the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has started registration for the representatives for the Dastak Programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on the occasion said that the government will increase the range of Dastak Progress to all districts of the province gradually.


She said the government has already started work to extend the range of services from 10 to 65 under the Dastak Programme.


On the special instructions of CM Maryam Nawaz, the registration of hundreds of Dastak representatives has started.


All the services will be provided to the people at their doorstep and the public will not be compelled to visit offices for their due work. CM said the Dastak program will not only provide services at home but will also end corruption and exploitation.


CM Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab has entered the revolutionary era of digitalization which will bring more positive and very useful changes in the society. She said information technology and artificial intelligence have brought a lot of ease in people's lives.


The hundreds of thousands of youth representatives will serve as facilitators in Maryam's Dastak program. By providing doorstep services, the youth will be able to earn thousands of rupees daily in a respectable manner.


Original ID card, minimum age of 18 years, minimum education of intermediate and mobile phone with internet are required for eligibility of Dastak representatives. Moreover, the clearance certificate, personal motorcycle and license from the concerned police station are required for the eligibility of Dastak representatives.


After the selection, training will also be given to the representatives.
