A fire broke out in a super store in Karachi’s Chorangi area in which one person sustained injuries on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHDT V channel.
Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the fire site along with the 12 fire hydrants and two snorkles (elevated fire hydrants vehicles) and started operation to douse the fire which started at the basement of a plaza in which the super store was located.
The rescue officials said that fire hydrants have overcome the fire from the large area and operation will continue till the basement area would be cleared from any fire. They said that efforts were being made to prevent the further spread of the fire.
The cooling process phase of the basement will start once the operation will be completed.
The personnel of Rangers force also dashed to the site and cordoned off the entire area. They said their jawans were helping the fire-fighters to extinguishe the fire.
