Pakistan and Turkey have signed seven Memorandum of Understanding during the three days long official visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Ankara, 24News HD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also witnessed the signing of agreements and MoUs for enhanced cooperation in diverse areas of mutual interests.
The seven MOUs signed between Pakistan and Turkish authorities are as followed:
1) MOU between the Presidency of Strategy and Budget, Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and Public-Private Partnership Authority of Pakistan.
2) Framework for Knowledge Sharing Program between the Government of Türkiye and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
3) MOU on Highway Engineering between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Communications of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
4) Joint Ministerial Statement on Developing Bilateral Trade and Economic Relations between the Republic of Türkiye and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
5) Technical Cooperation Protocol between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Finance of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
6) Cooperation Protocol on Debt Management between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
7) MOU between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye and NAYA Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Cooperation in the field of Housing.
