Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Food Safety Authority in a raid unearthed a large cache of dead chicken meat from a truck in Charsadda on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Around 200 dead chickens were being supplied to the Charsadda in a truck that was intercepted by the food authorities.
The KP officials lodged an FIR against the supplier and discarded the dead chicken.
In another raid, KP food regulators seized 2,000 litres of unhygienic beverages from Haripur.
KP food safety officials said that they discarded 600 litres of dry plum (aaloo bukhara) substandard juice that was prepared only by using substandard ingredients injurious to health.
