Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Wednesday advised former finance minister Miftah Ismail not to criticize the PDM-led government’s economic policies, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Taking to Twitter, he requested the former finance minister that the country's economic instability cannot afford his criticism at this time.
Khawaja Asif said that Miftah Ismail has been heard commenting on the economic conditions of Pakistan ever since he resigned from the ministry.”

He is a part of PML-N and the party can directly benefit from his knowledge as his ability is unquestionable. But the country's economic instability cannot afford criticism by him on social media this time.
“His point of view can also be useful for the government if he also takes the party into confidence and remembers the good times and fellowship.
Khawaja Asif further maintained that the PML-N awarded him the finance ministry twice. “There may be a reason to remove him from the ministry, but there is no justification for targeting the party,” he argued.
Seasons keep changing in politics and honorable political workers endure both cold and heat. Loyalty becomes a business when it is conditional, he hinted.
“I'm sorry, I had to resort to social media because the series of criticism is a decoration of all the media,” he concluded.
