The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan refused to meet with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime team regarding a tweet from his social media account.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the FIA Cybercrime team arrived at Adiala Jail late at night but Imran Khan declined to answer any questions.
The sources in Adiala Jail said former premier Imran Khan also refused to participate in the FIA's investigation and said he would only respond to questions in the presence of his lawyers.
The jail sources said, despite the refusal of the former premier to participate in the investigation, the FIA team documented Imran Khan's stance in writing.
It should be noted that the FIA cybercrime team was investigating the dissemination of an anti-state video and had gone to Adiala Jail to question the former PTI chairman Imran Khan about the video shared on X (formerly Twitter).
