Federal Minister of Climate Change and Advisor to Prime Minister Malik Amin Aslam said he participated in the first of its kind aerial spreading of seed balls at Botanical Garden Islamabad in which four million seed balls were spread for plantation.

The minister said the activity was arranged with the collaboration of #PTC this season under the 10 Billion Tsunami Tree Programme.
Reportedly, the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) has demarcated over 700 acres of land in Bani Gala for the construction of a zoological and botanical garden.
The Ministry of Climate Change also said Pakistan is taking the lead on tackling climate change and reversing environmental degradation.
“In another unprecedented move, Pakistan has announced that it will be holding World Environment Day 2021 in partnership with United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP),” the ministry said in a tweet.
Malik Amin Aslam on Monday also signed an MoU between MoCC and Suparco to keep the monitoring and evaluation of the 10 Billion Tsunami Tree Programme (10BTT) and Protected Areas Initiative transparent and credible.
