Former premier and senior PPP leader Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that time has come for the government to be sent packing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to media in Multan on Tuesday, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader maintained that the PTI’s own people were angry at their government.

He also stressed the need for free and fair elections in the country.

“Only by ensuring political stability in the country can we have a stable economy,” asserted the former prime minister.

“Our duty is to give relief to the public,” added he.
