The much-awaited song of Pakistan’s top singers Aima Baig and Sahir Ali Bagga has been released Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The launching ceremony of the song was held at Haveli Barod Khana.
The song is officially available on YouTube.
The song is basically a tribute to the Balochi culture and traditions.
Veteran singers and musicians including Mian Yusuf Salahuddin, Musician Amjad Hussain, Musician Mujtabi Chuni and Adnan Qazi attended the launching ceremony of ‘Washmally’.
The talented Aima Baig and Sahir Ali Bagga launched the video of the song on stage.
“The song was made in representation of Pakistan’s culture”, said Sahir Ali Bagga.
Pakistani dance group Sonu Dangerous performed at the launching ceremony.
The song is basically a tribute to the Balochi culture and traditions.
Pertinent to note that Aima Baig had revealed through her Instagram story that she wanted to make this song as a tribute to the Baloch culture, “their meethi (sweet) language, their beautiful traditional customs and to celebrate the rich culture of our largest province.”
“You may for a lot of things, and “rightly so, I’ve always supported our own cultures, let it be Punjabi or Seraiki. I personally think that this is long overdue for us privileged individuals to promote our long neglected, forgotten regions and cultures,” wrote Aima Baig.
