Press secretary to PM among five senior officers transferred, posted

A number of senior officials in the federal bureaucracy were transferred and posted on Thursday.
According to a notification, Press Secretary to Prime Minister Shaheera Shahid was transferred and made principal information officer, Principal Information Officer Tahir Hassan was transferred and posted director general of the Cyber Wing, Cyber Wing Director General Surrayya Jamal was transferred and made director general of the Press Information Department in Multan, Khalid Khursheed of the Railways Group, who was awaiting posting, was posted senior joint secretary at the Power Division and Dr Tabassum Afzal was posted rector of the Comsats University after approval of the president of Pakistan.
11 FIA Inspectors Promoted To Rank Of Assistant Director
In a related development in the lower hierarchy, 11 inspectors of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) were promoted to the rank of assistant director on Thursday.
Those promoted are Ghazi Khan, Shaukat Nawaz, Zia-ul-Hassan, Nadeem Akhtar, Zulfiqar, Shafqat Jameel, Abdul Ghaffar, Tahir Khan, Muhammad Shoaib, Ejaz Ahmad and Gazanfar Abbas. These inspectors have also been promoted from grade 16 to 17 with their promotion to the rank of assistant director.
