The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Friday allowed a special flight of SriLankan Airlines to land in the country, which will bring back the Pakistanis who are stranded in Sri Lanka.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the flight scheduled for May 4 will arrive in Karachi from Colombo. Later, it will leave the Jinnah International Airport for Lahore after picking up some Sri Lankan nationals.
It will leave then Lahore for Colombo on the same day after carrying more citizens from the Allama Iqbal International Airport.
However, the crewmembers won’t be allowed to leave the plane at both airports as part of the procedure adopted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier on April 21, a special flight of the SriLankan Airline had airlifted 113 passengers from the two cities.
