A sitting National Assembly member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has opened Pandora’s box by alleging that governor Sindh and federal ministers were responsible for the defeat of the party in NA-249 by-election, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PTI MNA Aslam Khan in a leaked audio recording on Saturday is heard saying that Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and federal minister Ali Zaidi and Senator Faisal Vawda were responsible for the party’s loss in the NA-249 by-election.

He said during previous general elections votes were cast on a personality basis and people voted for Imran Khan but in the next elections, votes will be cast on the basis of performance, not personalities.
Mr. Khan said that local PTI leaders had ignored the problems of the area people and senior leadership also ignored the complaints of elected representatives. He said the main reason behind the defeat in by-polls was awarding of party tickets to ‘favorite’ persons.
