Seeing the worst situation of coronavirus in different cities, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar has given a hint to impose a complete lockdown across the province as per the suggestion of his cabinet, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
On Saturday, the CM warned that they had no other option but to impose complete lockdown across the province if the situation would not become better. He urged the people that they must avoid coming out of their houses without necessary need.
Buzdar alarmed that the ratio of a new case and deaths due to coronavirus in different cities of the province were increasing very fast so his government was taking steps against it on daily basis. He confirmed that his government would do everything that is possible to save the lives of the people of Punjab.
He informed that his cabinet had given him a suggestion of imposing complete lockdown in all cities including Lahore where positive cases are in a large number and its ratio was increasing speedily. He said due to the increase in patients, health professionals were also under pressure by workload.
Punjab CM appealed to the masses to follow SOPs and maintain social distance to fight back against this epidemic disease. He said that they had imposed a lockdown in Lahore for two days to secure the lives of citizens.
