Sindh govt to pay Rs1m to employees’ families who die of coronavirus

The Sindh Government has announced to pay Rs1 million in compensation to the bereaved family of each of its in-service employees who die of Covid-19 reported 24News HD TV channel
The Sindh Finance Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Friday. The decision was made in a meeting of the Sindh Cabinet the other day. The compensation will also be applicable to the contractual employees of the Sindh government.
The finance ministry issued letters to the secretaries, commissioners, and others regarding the notification.
