TikToker arrested for posing with weapons in video

A TikToker in Lahore has been arrested by Shafiqabad Police on Friday against the charges of showing of weapons and ammunition in his personal video posted on the TikTok, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The police took serious notice of the video of a youth named Ahmad that was released by him on the TikTok some days ago. The police probed the matter and reached the culprit through Cybercrime Unit’s efforts.
The police raided at the residence of the accused Ahmad and recovered illegal pistol and bullets from his possession that was used in the video. A case has been registered against the accused Ahmad at Shafiqabad Police Station.
According to the Pakistani laws, showing off guns, pistols or any other kind of weapons and bullets on the social media especially TikTok and Facebook are prohibited. It is considered a serious offence and the accused could be punished for seven years in jail.
