Musician Ali Zafar has lately been subjected to a lot of negativity after the renowned singer decided to don a jacket by a brand known as ‘Raasta’ to his latest concert taking place in Toronto.

After quite of a lot of videos/pictures emerged from Ali Zafar’s Toronto concert with him wearing a white hoodie jacket that showcased a lion symbol with the statement ‘Shair aya Shair aya’ imprinted on it, infuriated remarks from the netizen community started emerging over social media, some bashing while some inquiring from the musician whether he has joined PML-N?

The heated fiasco made Ali Zafar take the solace of his Twitter handle in order to clarify that he has not joined any political party whereas the hoodie has been gifted to him by a brand known as ‘Raasta’.

Here is what Ali Zafar has stated in his latest Twitter post: “Firstly, I was wearing a red jacket at the concert in Toronto last night. The much talked about image is in the hoodie I wore at the sound check before the concert from a brand named ‘Raasta’ that uses local symbols and desi catchphrases for aesthetic purposes.”
The renowned music personality further stated: “The same hoodie had a balla (bat) and a teer (arrow) also. I just wore it casually as he’d sent a gift. Next time, I’ll even think before wearing my intimates.”

A very annoyed Twitter user has decided to school Ali over the latest controversy: “Going to unfollow you on wearing hoody of imported govt where people are dying and there are no human rights. You have to be ashamed to support such parties who torture people on there political differences.”
