In a welcomed development for consumers across Pakistan, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has announced a significant reduction in the prices of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG), reported 24NewsHd TV channel Tuesday.
Effective immediately, Ogra has slashed the price of LPG by Rs11.88 per kilogram. This reduction translates into a substantial decrease in the cost of domestic LPG cylinders, with prices plummeting by Rs140.18.
The announcement came through an official notification issued by Ogra, outlining the revised prices for May.
According to the notification, the new price of LPG stands at Rs238.46 per kilogram, down from the previous month's rate of Rs250.34.
Similarly, the revised price for domestic LPG cylinders has been fixed at Rs2813.85, marking a significant reduction from April's rate of Rs2954.3.
