A PIA Boeing 777 aircraft has been procured by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation’s two-day visit to China, reported by 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
As per sources, Ministry of Foreign Affairs will pay $300,000 to PIA in order to acquire Boeing 777 aircraft. The plane will be parked at Beijing Airport for one day.
A 48-member delegation led by the Prime Minister and included Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has departed for Beijing.
PM Shehbaz Sharif along with his delegation will return to Pakistan tomorrow (Wednesday).
As per sources, different types of dishes and fresh juices, sponsored by the PM House, have also been prepared for PM Shehbaz and his delegation for Beijing visit.
It is pertinent to note that Foreign Ministry has paid for the Boeing 777 acquired for Prime Minister and his delegation’s visit to China.
