The Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners (CWP) is proud to announce the successful completion of the first Google Certification Course (GCC) at the Sindh Prison Staff Institute, Hyderabad. To commemorate this significant achievement, certificates were awarded to the dedicated staff members who completed the course.

The presentation of these certificates was a momentous occasion, graciously undertaken by Muhammad Aslam Malik, the esteemed principal of the Sindh Prison Staff Institute.

The staff members of the Sindh Prison Staff Institute have demonstrated unwavering commitment to their professional development by successfully completing the inaugural Google Certification Course.

These certificates serve as a tangible testament to their dedication and hard work.

The awards presentation ceremony, held to honour the accomplished staff members, was attended by the Regional Coordinator for the Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners Danish Ahmed Soomro, and Abdullah Soomro, a prominent representative from the Committee. Their presence at this significant event underscored the importance of the occasion and the collective effort to support the welfare and advancement of those within the prison community.

In a further effort to empower and equip individuals within the prison system with essential skills and knowledge, the GCC will be extended to both women prisoners and female prison staff at the Women's Prison in Karachi and Hyderabad.

This initiative is made possible through a valuable collaboration with the Legal Aid Society – a Karachi-based not-for-profit organization, emphasizing the importance of fostering greater opportunities for success within the prison community.

The CWP commends the dedication and commitment of the Sindh Prison Staff Institute's staff members and is excited to continue its mission of enhancing the lives and futures of those within the prison system through such valuable initiatives.
