The Pakistani rupee on Friday recovered 16 paisas against the US dollar in the inter-bank trading, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The recovery came amid reports that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is set to intervene to stabilize the Pakistani currency after its rapid loss against the greenback.
After recovering 16 paisas, the rupee was now trading at Rs170.50 down from Rs170.66 against the dollar in the inter-bank market.
