Prime Minister Imran Khan has facilitated the nation on the Federal Board of Revenue achievement which collected Rs1.395 trillion revenue in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021-22 against Rs1.21 trillion target showing a 38% growth in the revenue collection as compared to the last year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet posted on Thursday, Prime Minister Khan wrote: “I congratulate the nation on FBR’s achievement of collecting Rs.1,395 billion in Q1 of FY 2021-22 against the target of Rs.1,211 billion. This represents a growth of 38 percent in revenues over the same period last year.”
It appears that Prime Minister Khan has made it a habit to post a tweet after every three months congratulating FBR on its revenue collection achievement.
Though heavy taxes are being collected by the government but the nation is still deprived of basic civic amenities. Uncontrolled inflation and rising prices of utilities have made people’s lives miserable.
