China requested to refinance 2b debt

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has requested Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong for refinancing the loan worth two billion dollars, reported 24NewsHd TV Channel.
The federal finance and the Chinese ambassador held a meeting in Islamabad on Friday and discussed issues of mutual interest and bilateral relations.
On the occasion, the ambassador congratulated Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on assuming office.
The minister requested the ambassador for refinancing the $2 billion loan that Pakistan has to pay back to China in March 2023.
Chinese ambassador assured all possible help to Pakistan, especially for the flood victims.
