CM Naqvi extends warm wishes on China's National Day

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Sunday paid a visit to the Chinese Consulate in Lahore during the ongoing Chinese National Day celebrations, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a diplomatic gesture that underscored the growing friendship between Pakistan and China, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations to Consul General Cao Ke, marking the 74th-anniversary celebration of the National Day of the People's Republic of China.

During the visit, Chief Minister Naqvi, along with Acting Chinese Consul General, Provincial Information Minister Aamir Mir, and Chief Secretary, joined in cutting a celebratory cake, fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation between the two nations.

Further strengthening the bond, Chief Minister Naqvi presented traditional flowers and sweets to the Acting Chinese Consul General, who reciprocated the gesture with gratitude for the Chief Minister's presence on this significant day.

Chief Minister Naqvi's visit to China yielded positive outcomes, with productive meetings held with Chinese officials and the party secretary of Ningxia Province.

Moreover, an invitation was extended to the party secretary of Ningxia to visit Punjab in the future.

Acting Chinese Consul General acknowledged Chief Minister Naqvi's successful visit to China and emphasized that under his leadership, Pakistan-China relations were flourishing.

He further praised Chief Minister Naqvi for fortifying Pak-China friendship through his recent visit, referring to Lahore and Punjab as their "second home," reaffirming the enduring bond between the two nations, often referred to as "Iron Brothers."
