Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman Sunday said not the elections but the stabilization of the economy is the need of the hour, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
JUI president, while addressing the media in Sahiwal said that PTI is responsible for the situations looming in the country. They are the ones responsible for dropping the foreign reserve exchanges to Rs2 billion. They put the economy in this dilemma. On the other hand, the PDM government took the foreign exchange reserves to 11 billion in a year and a half.
He said that all the parties in the alliance are always ready for the elections but the betterment of the economy is the matter which should be addressed.
The dates announced for the elections at the end of January will make holding the polls difficult for the KPK province.
Fazal concluded the address saying that the whole system of caretaker government is unsuitable. In the caretaker government, another overseer is actually governing.
