Apple CEO announces donations for Pakistan flood victims

Apple CEO Tim Cook has stepped up and announced that his company will contribute to relief and reconstruction efforts in Pakistan following the disastrous floods that killed over 1,000 lives.
Tim Cook tweeted while making the announcement about it in response to the devastating flood in Pakistan:
Cook tweeted, “The floods in Pakistan and surrounding areas are devastating humanitarian disasters. Our thoughts are with those that have lost loved ones, the many displaced families, and all those affected. Apple will donate to relief and recovery efforts on the ground.”

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal responded to this tweet, thanking Apple's CEO for their help and noting that while Pakistan has the lowest carbon emissions, the country is still burning from global warming and its citizens are suffering for no reason. Additionally, he encouraged the G-7, OCED, and Fortune 100 to support Pakistan in its efforts to combat this catastrophe.
