Buses fares raised amid petroleum hike

Transporters have increased fares following the surge in the prices of petroleum products, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Friday.

The fare from Lahore to Multan, Sahiwal, Okara, Layyah, and Gujranwala, has gone up by Rs50-100.  

The travel cost from Lahore to Rajana has surged from Rs900 to Rs1,050. 

With a Rs100 hike, the fare from Lahore to Toba Tek Singh raised Rs1,300 while the fare for Arifwala has raised by Rs200, (Rs1600).

The fare for Karachi has been raised by Rs200.

Inter-city transport cost has too surged from Rs10 to Rs20 rupees.
