The Punjab Bar Council has announced a boycott of courts across the province tomorrow to protest against the hike in the prices of petroleum products and power tariffs.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the bar gave the call for protest across the province

The Vice Chairman said the lawyers will not appear in court tomorrow as a protest against inflation and the increase in prices of petroleum products

The lawyers want the government to withdraw the decision to increase in prices of electricity and petroleum products.

Countrywide protests against the inflated electricity bills have been going on for a week.

Angry protesters burnt electricity bills to vent their spleen over record-breaking inflation.

Traders went on a shutter-down strike in Karachi and some other cities.  The government has pledged relief but sought time from the protesters.
