An arrested accused has died mysteriously in a police lockup at Shah Ghareeb police station in Shakargarh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to police, the accused Farooq was a resident of the Kadiala area of Shakargarh and was arrested in a case of theft.
Police said that it seemed the accused committed suicide.
The accused was involved in various cases of motorcycle theft and robberies, and police also recovered a stolen bike from the possession of the accused.
