Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that process of reforms in the gas sector will continue uninterrupted.
Chairing a meeting on the reforms process in the gas sector in Islamabad on Thursday, he said a durable solution to the problems in this sector was top priority of the government.
The prime minister said people can be provided relief by addressing shortcomings in the system and optimally utilising the resources. He said that limited gas resources demand that they should be used in the most efficient way. He said that supply of liquefied petroleum gas should be ensured to areas where natural gas is not available so that people’s needs are met and deforestation is discouraged.
